IQAA received the majority of votes and was chosen to host INQAAHE Conference in 2023

On October 11, 2021, the INQAAHE General Assembly held a meeting in Barcelona. Susanna Karakhanyan, President of INQAAHE, delivered a speech dedicated to the 30th anniversary of INQAAHE, and proposed hearing and voting for the proposals of INQAAHE member agencies on holding the INQAAHE Conference in 2023, as one of the issues that were on the agenda.

After hearing the proposals to hold the INQAAHE Conference in 2023, the General Assembly was asked to hold a vote about the member agency that should host the INQAAHE 2023 Conference in Kazakhstan based on proposals and presentations received from 2 accreditation agencies: the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), and the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR).

The General Assembly voting was conducted electronically from October 11, 2021 to October 18, 2021. According to the voting results, IQAA received the majority of votes (64%), as a result, INQAAHE's General Assembly has chosen the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) to host INQAAHE Conference in 2023.
