On November 12th, 2015, the IQAA hosted a seminar, which was conducted by the Director of Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ACPUA), Antonio Serrano Gonzalez

The Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) regularly hosts seminars and conferences on various current topics in the field of quality assurance.

The recent event was held on November 12th, 2015. This seminar was conducted by Antonio Serrano Gonzalez, Director of the Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA).

During the seminar, the speaker addressed the following issues:
1. The history of higher education systems in Europe and Spain;
2. Higher education system in Spain;
3. Education quality assurance in Spain;
4. Education quality assurance in Aragon;
5. Activities and vision of the Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA).

This seminar was attended by the members of the Accreditation Council and Appeals Committee of the agency, chairpersons of Accreditation Committees, Rectors, Vice-rectors, representatives of universities from Astana, experts and agency staff.

At the end of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to address their questions to the speaker. Antonio Serrano Gonzalez was happy to receive many interesting questions regarding his presentation and gave exhaustive answers to all participants.

Summing up the results of the seminar, Professor Sh. Kalanova, President of the IQAA, thanked Antonio Serrano Gonzalez for the longstanding and strong partnership.
