Representatives of IQAA participated in the conference "Social dimension of e-learning – Addressing challenges through QA"

On 12-13 December 2016 in Athens, Greece, there was a holding of the conference "Social dimension of e-learning – Addressing challenges through QA" organized by the ENQA and hosted by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA).

The aim of this conference was to discuss the ways quality assurance supports and maintains trust and accessibility in e-learning, as well as social dimension in terms of providing opportunities for education of students with disabilities and special needs. One of the most important topics for discussion of participants of the conference was the conduct of the TeSLA project, which is focused on the provision of educational institutions with the system of electronic assessment.

The conference was attended by the representatives of educational organizations, quality assurance agencies and students. In the framework of the plenary meeting the following reports were delivered:
1) Quality challenges for digital higher education;
2) TeSLA Project;
3) QA supporting trust in e-learning;
4) Accessibility of higher education.

In the course of the conference, there were thematic sessions, during which participants had an opportunity to share their own experience on the promotion of e-learning and to discuss the further steps on the elimination of any inconsistencies.
