Representatives of IQAA participated in the seminar organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia

On 21 June 2017 representatives of IQAA participated in the seminar organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia in the Pavilion of Latvia: "Energy in Our Nature" located at the EXPO-2017.

During this seminar, the following topics were discussed:
1. Development of higher education in the Republic of Latvia;
2. Cooperation in the field of higher education in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme;
3. State scholarships from the Republic of Latvia. EU Programme to support young scholars;
4. Instruments for recognizing foreign qualifications and assuring the quality in Latvian higher education institutions.

This seminar became a dialogue platform, which allowed participants to discuss the latest achievements in the field of higher education in Latvia and Kazakhstan, as well as to consider the possibilities of a bilateral cooperation between two countries.

The participants of the seminar also included representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia, Latvian higher education institutions, Academic Information Centre and State Education Development Agency, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Center for International Programs "Bolashak", Nazarbayev University, L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University, Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University.
