On April 19-20, 2018, the 8th Forum of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) was held

The forum was organized by the Aragon Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ACPUA), which is a partner agency of the IQAA. The Forum of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) was attended by more than 100 participants, including representatives of IQAA.
In the framework of the Forum, the General Assembly of European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) was held on April 19, 2018. At the General Assembly, among other things, new rules and requirements for affiliated organizations of the ENQA were discussed.

  

At the opening of the forum, Pilar Alegria, Minister for Innovation, Scientific Research and Higher Education of Aragon (Spain) and Christophe Grolimund, President of the ENQA, delivered a speech. At the forum of the ENQA the following topics were discussed:
-Social dimension in quality assurance;
-UNESCO’s Global Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications;
-Can the ESG support innovative policy and practice? – Results of the final study of the EQUIP project;
-Database of External Quality Assurance Reports (DEQAR);
-Harmonisation of African Higher Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation (HAQAA);
-Linking Academic Recognition and Quality Assurance (LIREQA).

  

The forum of the ENQA allowed participants to get familiar with the latest news and trends, and to exchange view and discuss a wide range of issues in quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
