On May 24-25, 2018 the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) Ministerial Conference was held in Paris (France), in which the Minister of Education and Science of the RK Yerlan Sagadiev took a part

Within the framework of the conference, the Bologna Policy forum was organized, which gave an opportunity for dialogue on improving higher education system between EHEA and non-EHEA countries.

During the event, the Paris Communiqué, that identifies future development directions of the EHEA for 2018-2020, was discussed and approved, and the following measures were adopted:

• Structured peer support approach for the implementation of the three Bologna key commitments;

• Belarus strategy for 2018-2020;

• Short cycle qualifications as a stand-alone qualification level within the overarching Qualifications Framework of the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA);

• Revised Diploma Supplement, with a recommendation for its adoption in identical form in the respective frameworks of the Lisbon Recognition Convention and Europass.
